tattoos part 2. brief history

tattoo art can tell a story about art these marks would be misunderstood and rejected, the existence of tattoos found by the discovery of human remains or mummies in reports of historians and explorers such like Marco Polo and James Cook.Tattoos show a range a reactions raising up questions in mind like friend or foe, wether the person concerned is educated or narrow minded, these don’t concern the technique raher the meaning and the perpose it serves.

There is important ethnographic works of the history of tattoos of primitive people from distant corner of the globe, but only some aspects of tattoos are discribed, though not the phenomenon as a whole this is dew to the complexitiy that tattooing that is preformed everywhere all the time for different reasons.

japanese Ukiyo-e Prints

 

These Japanese art prints faded out around 1912 from production, then for two new schools of print-making came to take its place. Called Sosaku Hanga and Shin Hanga.

I really like japenese art so one of the most known is the prints they have done in the years of Ukiyo-e art the colours and layout of a print of this, is something to admire that it is captured on a print from a wood block which would take a long period to make.

i look more closely into tattoo design

i have recently been looking alot into tattoo design and tattoo artists such as heroes of the tattoo world like Sailor Jerry and Ed Hardy, its something that really does intrest me and am looking in possibley taking it up as a career after uni, this would consist of me been taken up as aprentice in a tattoo studio for two to three years, six months after i started i would be able to tattoo on to a person its something to look into as i love the art that is used in the tattoo buisness the way you can put such beautiful artwork onto your body is truely wonderful and have designed my own tattoos i want, i keep up with drawing up tattoo designs and learnig about different cultures all around the world.
